ali bennatt, pt
As a partner and physical therapist at Relate Center, Ali offers a unique approach to the treatment of musculoskeletal issues, from basic injuries to more complex disorders. Ali specializes in working with clients whose issues have not responded to routine medical and physical therapy intervention. Her training in Craniosacral Therapy, Visceral Mobilization and myofascial release take her perspective beyond the musculoskeletal system to working with the body as a whole. By addressing patterns of restriction in the body, along with those in the emotions and thinking, Ali assists her client’s in opening to new possibilities.
Ali’s clients describe her approach as calming and gentle yet profound. Whether they are recovering from an injury or surgery or are dealing with a chronic issue, they find that her whole body approach reaches the heart of their issue.
Ali received her B.A. from the University of Texas in 1993 and her M.S. in Physical Therapy from Texas Women’s University in 1995. She is a member of the American Physical Therapy association and the section on Women’s Health and is a former board member of the Texas Physical Therapy Association.
Ali is grateful for her studies with the Herman and Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute, the Barral Institute, the Upledger Institute and the American Physical Therapy Association’s Section on Women’s Health. However, she is most thankful for all she has had the opportunity to learn from her incredible clients and colleagues at Relate.
